Many thanks for the info. It prompted me to poke around a bit, and I discovered that an alternative method is to disable all the pages (except the "Other" section) in the Property book viewer, and then reload the Property book. It'll then allow you to edit the zenappPackageName value.

Another alternative is to move the Zen directory out of the snapins directory, and restart C1. It'll load up without the Zen stuff, and let you edit zenappPackageName without a problem.

The HEX plugin (HexEditor.dll) needs to be placed in Plugins subdirectory.
Also make sure you get the correct version, ANSI or Unicode. If you used the Installer you need the Unicode version, http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=189927&package_id=222593&release_id=645833

I have loaded hex editor DLL in the same folder as notepad++.exe. How do I change to a 'Hex' view. I still get the same line mode as a text file.

Thanks for doing these posts. We are new Moodle EDU users. I have tried your method on a new Moodle on OSX Leopard server. Moodle 1.9.2.

I am getting all the setings to pass inspection & no looping. However all I get after creating a Gallery in Moodle, is a blank page when trying to go to the created gallery.

If I go in to the Gallery Admin, I can see the albums were created, & the ownership of the Moodle classroom teacher. However from the Moodle side, I can see the hitlinks to the albums, but if I try to click I get a blank page. URL is ending in /view.php?id=115

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Tree Size is also good for this. I use the free version regularly to check disk usage on servers.

Thanks, these were helpful!

You ought to state the SQL server and version of said server you are using, because some of these statements look like they have specific SQL server requirements. (e.g. sub-selects not available in MySQL < 4.1)

It may be moot from the POV of MySQL (because the latest Moodle requires a MySQL version that can do this stuff) but you never know.

later..
